IPBrick.D

IPBrick.D pendrive enables the recovery of your system in less than 10 minutes in the event of hardware failure. This recovery includes applications and system, intranet services and communications configurations. Thus, in case of an hardware server malfunction, you can install  IPBrick in a second server with completely different hardware and apply the settings that were runing in the first server, making sure that it works exactly as the first that broke down. All data transfers (specially e-mails) are carried out safely and separately, even during the process of re-installation.

IPBrick Disaster Recovery covers all applications developed for IPBrick, including iPortalDoc,  Gestix (ERP Linux developed by Westix), SugarCRM (Free software for CRM) and Gestar (Software to manage Sewage treatment). In addition, it has the licensing procedure for disaster recovery, making it much more convenient to reinstall, not needing to look again licenses or in case of loss, ask again the supplier for it.

Through this system of disaster recovery, IPBrick became independent of the server hardware architecture, with no dependencies in terms of chipset motherboard, the structure of the system disk (RAID, or technology used IDE, SCSI or SATA) , memory or CPU number, ie, in the event of damage you can replace a server with multiple CPUs, and RAID5 SCSI disks, for a current PC with an IDE disk and a single CPU, at least while the original server is not repaired. The same principle can be extended to upgrading the server hardware architecture in a simple and fast way.
